Coming into a new worship environment can be intimidating and sometimes scary. At GHC, we want to remove the fear and provide you with comfort. Here are some of our most asked questions:
- What is it like? It is fun, welcoming, informative, and spirit-filled. We worship in the contemporary, African American tradition. The music is exciting and everyone is involved in worship.
- What about my kids? We have a nursery on the same level as our main sanctuary and our elementary and high schools have a children's church in the fellowship hall in the lower level. A certified attendant will check your child in and out and keep them safe while you enjoy worship.
- Where do I park? There are two parking lots for your convenience. We have a Prakign lot on Lodge and Monroe. Our Security Team will be there to assist you.
- What do I wear? We do not get hung up in clothing. Come comfortable and come ready to enjoy worship.
- How can I get connected? You can subscribe to our website, follow us on all social media platforms, or click the "ministries" tab to learn how to get plugged in at GHC!"
- My child is autistic? Am I still welcome? ABSOLUTELY! We have special gift bags for your child that include headphones, sensory toys, and other things that keep them comfortable during worship.
